I have to travel to El Centro for work and I always stop here, friendly staff, nice restaurant, and great tasting food. Recently I tried the seafood curry it was so delicious I highly recommend eating here

This is an update to Exotic Thai. We've been here about 3-4 times and, my biggest problem, is it's not consistent. The last time, there was very little meat in the dishes. For $50 I'm good, we expected more. We also have had to wait often because because they don't seem to open on time-which was embarrassing since I brought 9 friends with me last time.

We ordered appetizers first, so to have time to enjoy but food came out right with the appetizers. The Exotic Angel (not on the menu but they will do) which is stuffed chicken wing and what they call crabchesse (used to be crab Rangoon when they added real crab or now fried cream cheese wontons. The Exotic Wings (or better known as Wings of Angel) are marinated chicken, rice noodles & veg stuffed in a chicken wing. The Exotic Wing were ok and the crabcheese were good and both served with a Thai Chili dipping sauce. I would definitely get both again.

I studied the online menu before to help me deicide what to try. I've had the Tom Ka Gai and Pad See Ew both were just ok-wouldn't order again. The Pad Thai the first time was pretty good but last time not so good. Hubs ordered Mongolian Beef and BBQ Pork Fried Rice both which were good the first but not good at all the second. And there was very little meat the second time.

The food is a 2-4 depending on the day. The servers have been great. They do a great job. I don't recommend Exotic Thai anymore.

Huge portions, service was fast & friendly.  Overall the food was good & fresh, only wish I asked for a little heat on the pad Thai.

Extensive vegan menu. We ordered Chinese dishes. Both were very similar tasting. Sietan was extremely chewy:( Go with Thai food I guess as ours took forever to be served. The spicy cucumbers is not pickled. Just sweet and spicy sauce poured over a cucumber!

Nice people, clean looking table area with an extensive menu --hence the two stars. Dishes lacked something essentially Thai. We did not want hot spice which seemed to leave food just too salty. Presentation was okay for Chinese food, but we ordered only Thai.

And what really disappointed us most of all was the over use of canned vegetables -- straw mushrooms, water chestnuts, and especially little corn on the cob.

The vegetable soup broth was good, but there were a minimal number of carrot, cabbage and onion pieces and the rest was canned in a thin broth with no noodles or rice. The tofu was just cut as it comes from the package. Not at all a creative soup.

Wonton soup better though a bit salty. Sliced roast pork not in soup at all. And again, only canned veg

The steamed veg with chicken a tiny bit better on veg but certainly not what the menu promised.  Chicken very nice but sauce was not Thai.

Pad Thai looked like a plate of linguini with chicken and lacked flavor. Limes were not present and egg, peanuts and sprouts were almost nonexistent.

Since we don't live here and the ownership is brand new. I would give it time to improve. Potential is there.
